Iris is a Czech import and an extremely loving dog with a wonderful temperament who lives to please.  She is a large but not oversized female with substantial bone and a strong but feminine head.

Iris descends from some of the great Czech and Slovak dogs of the past 2 decades, including dogs of the Pohraniční Stráže (Czechoslovakian Border Patrol).  Dogs from the Pohraniční Stráže, now Policie kennels, are much valued for health, structure and temperament.  Iris’s pedigree includes Cordon An-Sat, who produced numerous outstanding dogs including Tom z Pohraniční Stráže. 

Iris has just begun her training in the US and we aim to have her BH this fall and her SchH 1 in the spring of 2010.
